In partnership with EJI, JCMP will help bring historical markers to lynching sites throughout Jefferson County. We are working with city committees to help cities with lynching sites better understand their history and prepare to create their own historical marker.
On September 16th, over 300 residents of Jefferson County gathered to dedicate our first historical marker at Sloss Furnaces.
