Despair
Despair
Life’s path winds through emerald fields,
Under cascading golden wings, scented
Cherry blossoms in the cool breeze.
As nightingale’s love fills morning’s air.
And then in suddenness turns. Despair.
Ominous clouds sit like a Gotham Nightmare
Souls threaten with a deeper will-o-the-wisp.
Streets of world desire are hanging souvenir
Life’s lights melt in darkness, souls disappear.
And then in suddenness turns. Despair.
Life’s addictive pleasures are the sweetest taste.
Being housed in hopelessness a hollow-out waste.
Addictions’ pleasing joys are all in the chase. Song
Nightmares cloak in pseudo bravery’s fears locked in poem.
And then in suddenness turns. Despair.
Robes of death disregards her hood.
Her face covered in host of sorrows
Visions daily burdens with thoughtless care
Wrapped our exploitative addictive pleasure.
And then in suddenness turns. Despair.
Despair! Despair! Despair!
